We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

Who we share it with

Booking requests submitted through this website are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form-handling service. Your information passes through their servers to reach our email inbox. We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as needed for operational, tax, and legal purposes, typically up to 7 years, after which they are securely deleted.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Request a correction if something is inaccurate
• Request deletion, where we are not legally required to keep it

Cookies

Terms of Use

Bookings

• Submitting a booking request through this website is a request, not a confirmed reservation. Your booking is confirmed only when we contact you by phone or email.
• No deposit is required for online requests. Payment is collected at check-in.
• Rates shown are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include GST (5%) and the Alberta Tourism Levy (6%).
• Stays of 4 or more nights automatically receive 10% off the room subtotal.
• Prices are subject to change without notice. The rate confirmed at the time of your reservation is the rate that applies.

Check-in and check-out

• Check-in: 3:00 PM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Late check-out until 1:00 PM may be available for an additional $20.
• Early check-in before 3:00 PM may be available for an additional $20, refunded if we cannot accommodate.
• Government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.

Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or do not arrive, we may charge for the first night.

Pets

Pets are welcome at Galaxy Motel for a small additional fee. Please let us know when you book so we can assign you a pet-friendly room. The pet fee is confirmed when we contact you to confirm your reservation. Pets must be kept under control at all times, and guests are responsible for any damage caused.

Smoking

All guest rooms are non-smoking. A cleaning fee applies to rooms where smoking has occurred. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.

House rules

• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• No parties or events in guest rooms.
• Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors.
• Damage to rooms or property will be charged to the guest.
• Maximum occupancy per room must be respected.
• We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave for disruptive behaviour, without refund.

Payment

• We accept major credit cards, debit, and cash.
• Payment is due at check-in.
• A valid government-issued photo ID matching the reservation name is required.

Website content

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate — including rates, amenities, and nearby businesses. We reserve the right to correct errors and update information at any time.

Limitation of liability

Galaxy Motel is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this website. Our liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount paid for your stay. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings; we recommend using in-room locks and the front desk for valuables.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
